I listened to this on my bike, riding my usual route through Fort Ord, CA. When the story ended I had to stop and ask someone where I was. I tried to explain about the great story of Victory Faust and the person I asked just looked at me oddly and kept saying, “in 1911?” I’m old and it’s shows like the Memory Palace that give me the energy to bike.

You are still the most beautiful show.
So personal.
So interesting.
So human.
The same way 99% makes me love the world around me even more, the Palace makes me love my fellow Americans even more.
