I listened to this while just entering my office building this morning and had to stop in the stairwell on my way up. We see and hear every day that something is deeply wrong at this moment in history, but hearing it in this manner, laid bare in that truly disarming way in which The Memory Palace always seems to be able to voice is gut wrenching. I feel both devastated and seen. I had my little cry in the stairwell, then I walked through the doors – worked, and went on.
