Dear Nick,

Need to give you a little correction. You mentioned in the beginning that the “communists” destroyed the Yellow River Dams in China to slow down the Japanese. That was wrong. It was the Nationalist government, lead by Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek, under advice of Chen Guofu, both of which are Nationalist.

In fact, the Communist guerillas actually attempted to PREVENT the then Nationalist Chinese government from rebuilding the dams in 1946 with the help of UN.
