Very interesting Podcast and just shows you how crazy the times were back then. As William Walker is my great-great-great Uncle and who my great grandfather, grandfather and Dad are named for it is interesting to hear about as my family in Virginia and Tennessee at the time and half of them were Union and the other Confederate, so a house truly divided. Something interesting is that Henry T. Titus fought with Walker in Nicaragua and then later founded the town of Titusville, FL. I was born there and my grandfather was the mayor so it all comes full circle. I LOVE HISTORY!

I first heard of William Walker on vacation to Costa Rica. According to our naturalist guide, it’s a big part of their history involving the US but I’d wager that few of us have ever heard of him.
