That’s The Faire Folk by Lightning Bolt. Who are among of the best things about being from Providence, Rhode Island.
I first heard about the British fear of Franklin when I interviewed a Harvard Professor named Joyce Chaplin about her book The First Scientific American for a public affairs show out here in L.A.. It’s archived: http://www.scpr.org/programs/zocalo/index.html

Awesome. Good fit with the Lightning Bolt. Probably listen to Ride the Skies for the rest of the afternoon. This is a great podcast.
This is a great series. love to hear more.
“So suck it…..”
Made me laugh out loud. (if only there were some kind of a convenient acronym to describe doing just that)
you are a genius.
i love the memory palace. can’t wait for more / am waiting for more.
You do know that Glen Beck uses a cut up snake for his 912 project don’t you?

Though I appreciate the multiple-exclamation-point urgency, it seems like it’s working ok. Maybe I’m missing something? Drop me a line at nate@thememorypalace.us if you would…
Fantastic work on the podcast – loved it. My one quibble your omission of Franklin’s advocacy of cold-air baths. Which is actually the coolest thing about him (not the death rays), but seems to not even have warranted a mention. Sad.

It seems like the episode is gone. Any idea how those of us late to the party can listen?
Thanks for pointing it out. Should be fixed now.

Loved the fast paced, dicing and dealing tone of this piece. You rock!
